A Photo Business Card is, of course, a business
card which implements the use of a photo to
make your card a more effective promotion tool.
We live in a very visual world and a photo on a
business card can communicate a lot more than
just what you can communicate with words on
the limited space of a business card. Think
about how a photo can describe you, your
business location, or the products and services
you offer.
A picture of the product or service you offer
would immediately display you area of expertise.
The business world can be a tough environment to
be remembered in. We are constantly looking for
ways to grab the attention of potential customers.
Which card do you think has a better chance of
getting a customer's attention. One that is just
plain black text on a white card, or one that
has a photo on the card with the text. If you put
your picture on your business card, it might make
the difference in your customer remembering you
and selecting you as the first one he calls.
For some businesses, the location of the business
is key to the business's success. In this case,
why not use a picture showing your business's
location on your business card. For example a
hair salon might want to show a picture of its
location in a well known shopping mall as the
background for its business card. By using the
photo of the location a customer can more
quickly recognize your place of business better
than just having the address typed on the card.
For those of us that make and design items to
be purchased by our customers, then a picture
of what we make is of special importance to promote
on our business card. For example, if you are
an artist, show one of your sculptures, a piece
of jewelry, a couple of your paintings, or whatever
art form you are proud to present. A photographer
should be able to show one of his best photos.
If you are an architect you might use a picture
of one of the buildings you designed as the
background of your card. If you are in the
landscape service business you might show a
beautiful yard you worked on. Any of these
type of photos on your business card would
proudly present what type of work you do
and help initiate discussions of that work.
A photo business card can be a ready tool to
better describe you, your location, your work
and other characteristic of what you do.
It can help make your business card into
something you are proud to handout to promote
your business.
