Design Considerations

	Best when design only needs a couple of colors maximum.
	Can be printed on many different paper stocks.
	Offer the lowest cost per card.

Since we do a completely custom layout for your business card design, we are not constrained by templates, and we do not offer a bunch of templates. What we do offer is a bunch of examples that you can browse through to consider when you give us instructions on how you want your business card layout.

We do offer a new process which I recommend you consider if your card design requires 2 or more ink colors. It is our full color raised ink process. To read more about it please use this multi color raised ink process link.

Design Authoring:

Raised ink cards can be designed in many types of programs, like word processors or even the Window's Paint® program which comes standard with Windows. We can accept design files from many different programs and we will confirm with you with a digital proof whether we have your design correct. Therefore, we suggest you put together a design in a program you are familiar with and send us a copy of the file.

Options

Although the raised ink process offers a low cost for simple designs, it becomes quite costly as the design becomes more complicated. Here is a partial list of options which require extra costs:

Paper stock selections other than bright white.
Registration costs for two or more colors which have a tight spacing between them. ($20)
Bleed over costs of any ink which must extend to the card edge. ($12/card edge)
