ACEftp Instructions for sending files:

Start up the ACEftp program. 

 Click on the File menu and then click on Connect.
  or click on this icon: 
 

You should now have the below connect dialog showing:  

Yours may not have any sites listed in the right hand side.

Double click where it says New Site Profile on the right side.  This brings up a setup dialog box, which looks like:

It will probably come up blank.  I have already filled in the things you need to enter on this setup box for our FTP site.  

  1. Type in a descriptive name
  2. Type in the server: ftp.galleriaventures.com
  3. Click the check box for Anonymous - needs to be checked.
  4. Then click the Next button
  5. the below second box pops up and you should enter /incoming in the area for the host folder, as shown below...
  6. Then click on the Finish button.

 

When you click the finish button you should be back with the Site Profile box again with your new site highlighted.  ( if you had a check in the box labeled - Connect to the site when the wizard completes - in the first site wizard box, then ACEftp is probably already trying to connect. )   Double click on the highlighted new site and ACEftp will connect to our anonymous FTP site. 

After you set up a site profile, all you have to do to connect is bring up the site profiles list and double click on the site you want to connec to.

After you connect to our site then you will have the following main ACEftp screen showing:

In the bottom half of the screen are two panels.   The panel on the right shows files on our FTP site.  The panel on the left shows files on your hard disk.  You will need to find the files on your system.  Then highlight those files on your system that you want to copy to our FTP site. 

Then click the little blue arrow in a circle to start the copy to our site. 

Enjoy your ACEftp.
